Return to Bootcamp - D.C.

Bootcamp Summary: A four-day goalie training camp with All American and MLL All-Star Scotty Rodgers, featuring daily 1.5 hour sessions of group instructional work, which will forge goalies from the ground up. Each session will be unique, with drills that will focus on stopping, communication, clearing, and goalie specific strength training. Whether the goal is Division I lacrosse - or just personal improvement - this bootcamp will accelerate learning and provide the tools to continue growing beyond camp.

Groups: The Bootcamp will feature two groups: Youth (5th-8th) and High-School (9th-12th). Each group will be capped at 20 players, allowing Scotty and our staff to evaluate each player at an individual level. Camp sessions will skew to relatively more advanced techniques for the high-school group; players with at least one season of experience will be welcome in both age groups, regardless of skill. .

Evaluations: Each player will receive written scorecards and notes for improvement at the end of the camp - providing tangible feedback on areas that need work - and detailed instruction on how to improve in those areas.

Curriculum: The Bootcamp will feature a mixture of lacrosse drills and functional strength drills geared toward goalie development. Our goal is to take the best of Scotty's own training regiment, and transpose that onto an intensive 4-day curriculum, so attendees walk away with as much new ability and know-how as possible.

WhenMonday, July 30th through Thursday, August 2nd - Youth Bootcamp 5:00-6:30 PM, High School Bootcamp 6:30-8:00 PM
